About 25% of a developer’s time is spend searching for information. It’s well spent, though — finding reusable code can get a project done on time and with high quality results.
One of my programmer friends even said, programming is the cycle of
1. to search the problem on search engine
2. to copy-paste the answer you get form the Internet
3. to do a bit modification
4. to run and see if there is further problems.
Many people can’t do programming is just they don’t or can’t understand our language. Otherwise, programming is simple, taking some time and requiring patience of course, unless you’re handling the critical few creative or infrastructural tasks.
Maybe Quickref, the Experimental search engine for developers, could help most of our developer lives even more easier. At least I’ll try it.
